The Visitation Parish of Gingin-Chittering in Western Australia, serves the communities Bullsbrook, Muchea, Gingin, Lower Chittering, and Bindoon. Just an hours drive from Perth and a short drive from the Swan Valley the parish is blessed with the beautiful countryside of the Chittering and Gingin shires in the Northern Wheatbelt. The Catholic Churches of St Anne’s Bindoon, St Catherine’s Gingin, and Our Lady’s Shrine Bullsbrook attract worshippers from across the parish, and with an ever expanding population their presence as a focal point for the community is increasingly important.

Parish Priest, Father Paul Fox, divides his time between the three Churches and the communities of Gingin and Chittering.

The parish welcomes all residents and visitors.

Divine Mercy Church, Lower Chittering

Fund raising is underway following Archbishop Barry Hickey’s approval for the building of a new parish church in Chittering to be named after the Divine Mercy.

The Divine Mercy Church will be built on Maryville land donated to the archdiocese by the Prindiville Group.

This site and the church will be owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth and will also be home to a Catholic school, plans for which are now well underway
 

The church has been designed by Peter Anthes with 3D rendering of the plans.

This photo was taken on the Feast of the Assumption 2010 when Fr Fox was breaking the ground at Maryville in Lower Chittering Western Australia, the site of the new Divine Mercy Church.
